RINGWOOD AVE WATER MAIN PROJECT

Thursday, May 7, 2026 UPDATE *

Be advised: We will be replacing a water main valve on Ringwood Avenue between Broad Street and Locust Street on Friday, May 8, 2026. We do not expect any interruption in water service, but there will be a temporary adjustment to the traffic pattern.

There will be a different post when we do the other valves, depending on the dates. We will schedule another replacement of water main valves on Broad Street near the Broad Street Bridge over Posts Brook (or Ringwood Avenue near the Railroad Tracks) at a later date. There will be a localized disruption in water service, but it should not last longer than an hour or two. If you experience discolored water, please let your cold water run until it clears.

New Summer Hours

Please be advised that our summer hours will take effect Monday, May 18, 2026, and will last until Friday, September 4th, 2026.

We will now be open Monday through Thursday 7:30AM to 4:00PM and Friday 7:30AM to 1:30PM

Please contact our office with any questions or concerns.

WATER SERVICE LINE SURVEY

Public Law 2021, Chapter 183 (NJ Bill A5343/S3398) requires all community water systems (CWS) to perform an initial service line inventory and make the findings publicly available. To update our records, we’re asking for your help to identify what type of material your service is by conducting a visual inspection and completing an online Water Service Inspection Form.

Please be advised that Authority employees will be leaving Service Line Survey Door Hangers and Letters as notice and will be available to perform the survey if assistance is needed.

Enter the link into your cellphone, tablet, or computer browser to complete the survey on your own, or contact of office to schedule an appointment with a technician.
