Mission Statement

We at the Pompton Lakes Municipal Utilities Authority remain committed to providing our community with water that meets or surpasses all standards for safe drinking water. These health and safety standards are set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (N.J.D.E.P.).


The Pompton Lakes Municipal Utilities Authority, in conjunction with N.J.D.E.P. approved independent laboratories, conducts over 400 tests each year to ensure your drinking water meets all of these standards.

Covid-19/Coronavirus Precautions

Effective immediately, the PLMUA offices are closed to the public. Please use our mail, website, or drop box for bill payments until further notice. Employees can be reached by phone or email during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The 2019 CCR Report is Now Available
