We at the Pompton Lakes Borough Municipal Utilities Authority remain committed to
providing our community with water that meets or surpasses all standards for safe drinking water.
These health and safety standards are set by the United StatesEnvironmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.)
and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection(N.J.D.E.P). The Pompton Lakes Municipal Utilities Authority in conjunction with the E.P.A. and the N.J.D.E.P. approved independent laboratories
conduct over 400 tests each year to ensure your drinking water meets all of these standards.

We are pleased to present to you this year's Annual Drinking Water Quality Report.
This report is designed to inform you about the quality of water and service we deliver
to you everyday. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply
of drinking water.

In light of the events of September 11, 2001 and in response to the States Domestic
Preparedness Act, we have provided additional security and reviewed operations
to include a greater emphasis on security issues.
